My home was originally built in 1958, with many upgrades. It resembles a Lincoln Log house, with the vinyl siding looking realistic without the termites. I have 23 acres with a horse and pets on the property. If you are looking for quiet, there is no city noise here. With the creek in the horse pasture, the open window will bring the songs of crickets and frogs. I allow pets to come with you, even if they are of the larger variety, as I have a horse on the property who loves company. I am 45 minutes away from Little Rock, the state capital, if you're looking to visit the Clinton Library. I am also 45 minutes away from Magic Springs, which also has a great water park, as well as some great even summer concerts. Hot Springs offers many great attractions, so it's only a hop, skip and a jump to take that Duck Ride, visit a bath house spa, or visit the Wax Museum. The Saline County fairground often sponsors horse shows and rodeos in their enclosed arena, so a twenty minute ride and you're there. Then again, you want to spend the day doing nothing? I am here to make you feel like family. Lounge in the living room and watch TV. Want to cook something? I have a huge kitchen. Want to sit outside and read a book? I have a sun room to keep the bugs away.

This is a little cabin located off of a main, busy two-lane highway approximately 25 miles outside of Hot Springs and a 1/4 of a mile from Degray Lake State Park. This cabin is 600 sq. feet and sleeps up to 6. It has adult sized bunk beds, a queen size bed, and a couch. It has a full kitchen, 1 bathroom, and a flat screen tv with satellite. The bathroom has a stand up shower/no tub. Cabin is studio design with open floor plan on a 2 acre lot with outdoor grill. All towels, linens, pots and pans are provided. There is cell phone signal but no wifi. Pets allowed only on a case by case basis. If a pet is allowed, there is a $20.00 fee. There is ac/heat. Check in is 3:00pm and check out is 10:00am.

The Cabin living space is spacious and cozy with new sofa, dinette and decorations. It features a full kitchen with Fridge, microwave, stove/oven, coffee pot, toaster and plenty of dishes and cookware. We keep it supplied with salt, pepper and some condiments. The deck overlooking the river has a charcoal grill, plenty of outdoor seating, an amazing hot tub that has the most relaxing romantic views of the river and wildlife along with tiki torches and a huge fire pit with plenty of seating for those that want to roast marshmallows and sit back and laugh as you share stories with your friends and family. There’s plenty to do at our River Retreat you will never want to leave. There’s 4 kayaks, tubs and floats for an all day river adventure. When you come back from enjoying the river you can swim in either of the swimming holes right at the waters edge, fish or swing from one of the rope swings into the water. Then to dry off you can sit by the huge fire pit and enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for an afternoon snack! As the sunsets it is perfect to sit out on the patio or the amazing hot tub and just relax as the evening sets in before you begin you grill out some wonderful chicken or steaks on the grill right outside the kitchen on the deck that overlooks everything!!

Bring the whole family to The Lake Lodge. This majestic lodge has two fireplaces, one gas fireplace in the spacious living room with high ceilings and wood floors (sleeps 8). The second, a log fireplace which is outside on the private covered porch, where you can relax with your feet up and coffee in hand, while looking out over the wooded pond. Off the porch and on an extended deck, you will find a 4 person hot tub that is open to the stars. The lodge has three nicely sized bedrooms and two and 1/2 bathrooms. The kitchen has custom hickory cabinets, a gas stove top, double oven, and hickory wood floors. The Lake Lodge is excellent for family gatherings, weekend getaways, and romantic escapes. With a pull out couch and roll away beds (on request), this lodge can house up to eight people comfortably. Washer and Dryer are readily available for long stays or quick washes.

Two of the cabins have a studio king-sized bed layout with an adjacent Jacuzzi tub that is perfect for couples. This cabin, Cabin 2, has a king sized loft bed with Jacuzzi tub and ground level 2 twin beds, perfect for 2 couples or a family of four. ACCESS AND PARKING: Access to the property is via a 0.6 mile drive to the end of a graveled DeRoche Ln, off of Hwy 84. Plenty of free onsite shared gravel parking just a few feet from the cabin entrance. KEYLESS ENTRY: Don’t worry about late arrivals! Feel free to self check in anytime after 3 PM. A code will be provided prior to arrival with instructions for using the keyless lock that will be used for the duration of your stay. LIVING ROOM: Opening directly from the front door (and rear patio door) the living room features a comfortable sofa near an ole timey wood-burning stove that is perfect for cold Fall, Winter, and Spring nights (limited firewood and starters are provided). A new large screen, smart TV with YouTube TV (provided) and apps (for use of your personal Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. accounts). A DVD player is also available if you prefer to bring your own movies. With free high-speed internet (fiber optic) and WiFi, your internet entertainment options are unlimited. A selection of other traditional games, such as puzzles and cards, are also available. KITCHEN: The petite kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. along with all the appliances you will need for your vacation (no dishwasher). A few common spices are available for cooking and coffee is provided for the coffee maker. A small table for four is splendid for indoor dining. OTHER INDOOR FEATURES: The cabin is heated and cooled by a central heat pump. A romantic wood-burning stove is available for supplemental heating during the cold-weather months. Free, high-speed, internet and Wi-Fi are available to enjoy your indoor time. Cell phone coverage is available for most of the property. OUTDOOR FEATURES: Enjoy a large covered deck along the entire length of the cabin with a porch swing, 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table that overlooks the forest, horseback trail, Prairie Bayou valley and Jack Mountain. An outdoor, park-style, grill with limited grilling amenities is great for outdoor cooking. Enjoy time around the fire of the chiminea (limited firewood provided). A separate uncovered picnic table is available near the grill and chiminea for dining in nature. Horse pens (4) are available by prior arrangement, if you wish to bring your horses for trail riding. Because we do not live on the Hidden Ridge Cabins property, we have an outdoor camera to view the parking lot area between Cabins 1 and 2, for security purposes. SUPPLIES: In case you need any supplies, a new Dollar General (opening June 2020) is less than a mile away. Maw & Paw's Country Store and Griddle is less than 2 miles away, with available hot food, supplies and gasoline. Larger stores are available in nearby Hot Springs, Malvern, and Arkadelphia. RESTAURANTS: Numerous excellent restaurants serving local, regional, and international specialties are available within a short drive from the cabins. Recommendations are available with guest book. ACCESS AND PARKING: Access to the property is via a 0.6 mile drive to the end of a graveled DeRoche Ln, off of Hwy 84. Plenty of free onsite shared gravel parking just a few feet from the cabin entrance. KEYLESS ENTRY: Don’t worry about late arrivals! Feel free to self check in anytime after 3 PM. A code will be provided prior to arrival with instructions for using the keyless lock that will be used for the duration of your stay. LIVING ROOM: Opening directly from the front door (and rear patio door) the living room features a comfortable sofa near an ole timey wood-burning stove that is perfect for cold Fall, Winter, and Spring nights (limited firewood and starters are provided). A new large screen, smart Roku TV with YouTube TV (provided) and apps for use of your personal Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. accounts. A DVD player is also available if you prefer to bring your own movies. With free high-speed internet (fiber optic) and WiFi, your internet entertainment options are unlimited. A selection of other traditional games, such as puzzles and cards, are also available. KITCHEN: The petite kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. along with all the appliances you will need for your vacation (no dishwasher).
